Khrysten Taylor
Hello, I’m Khrysten Taylor. Beyond designing and meticulously hand-selecting fabrics for this line of heirloom blankets, I am first and foremost a mother of three cherished children. They are my greatest treasures, and I intimately understand the overwhelming love and desire to comfort them, when holding your whole world in your arms.
My journey into creating these blankets began with my first daughter, who struggled with eczema. As a first-time mother, navigating her discomfort was challenging. Yet, I discovered that a soft burp cloth, albeit not the most aesthetically pleasing, provided her with comfort without irritation.
This sparked an idea within me. I realized I could fashion beautiful burp cloths and blankets from similar materials for my daughter. And so, I did. As I crafted these items, people started inquiring about where I acquired such lovely blankets. Soon after, a retailer approached me, and thus, the blanket line was born.
Today, my daughter is in college, yet she still finds comfort in the blankets I make. It’s a testament to the enduring quality and love woven into each piece. I hope you find as much joy and comfort in these blankets as my family has.
